You can quickly and easily organize your publishing by grouping related publications into Content Groups with Social Report.
This will not only help you keep your calendar organized, but will also give you great reporting on your content strategy.

Creating a Content Group
There are two main ways of creating your content groups:
Method 1 : From the content groups page
Head to Publishing > All Content Groups
Click on Create New Group on the top right
Give your content group a name & select which profiles to publish to when scheduling posts to this group
Method 2: When scheduling a new post
Begin writing a new post from the Publishing menu
Select Create a new content group
You'll also need to give your content group a name & select which profiles to publish to when scheduling posts to this group.
Content Group Strategies
Content groups can be an important tool to use with your content strategy. Here are a few best practices to keep in mind.
When scheduling posts to different networks at the same time
In this example, if you're planning to publish your posts to multiple profiles at the same time you would benefit from creating category or topic based content groups.
In this example, we have three main content groups (Blog Posts, Testimonial Videos and Funny Memes). They each have their own posting schedules, however all profiles get the same post at the same time.

When scheduling posts to different networks at different times
If you have different categories, but want to ensure each network has a post in its own optimal time than you'd benefit from this content group strategy.
In this example, we have two main categories of posts: Funny Memes and Blog posts. However, we've separated the content groups so that each network has it's own content group.
This allows us to ensure we use a unique posting schedule when scheduling our blog posts to Facebook as opposed to when we schedule blog posts to Twitter.
Content Group Performance
Once you've had time to publish posts according to their content groups for a week or two, you're ready to review their performance and analyze your current posting strategy.
You can review your content performance report by heading to Publish > Content Performance
You'll see a few different reports, but let's focus on Content Group Totals.
Here you'll find a report outlining how often you've published to each content group. Breaking down your metrics by average clicks and engagement per post will really help you understand your content strategy's performance.
More importantly, if you've setup conversion tracking, you'll be able to understand which posting category is driving more conversions
